    Most of you being horror aficionados probably already know about this brilliant little short film called ‘Spider’ from Australian filmmakers at Blue Tongue Films.     Every Halloween over 200,000 visitors crowd the tiny city of Salem, Massachusetts, selling out hotel rooms and creating a stir that resembles Las Vegas during a New Years celebration. The tourists do not come for artificial scares; instead, they come for scares that are laced with real history.

  • Mütter Matters

    This isn’t exactly news, it’s been around since 1858, but I had my first opportunity to visit the famous Mütter Museum in Philly, PA not too long ago after the recommendation from my buddy Jim Glaub. I live in NYC and Philadelphia is only a two hour drive max, so I thought it was worth driving down to see it.   • Movie Review: Blood: The Last Vampire

    You know, I didn’t know much about this movie, and I wasn’t familiar with the anime series it was based on that people are apparently nuts over, but I went and saw it on opening night anyway (yipes – and I am writing a review two weeks later! way to go!) because it was about a vampire and this little Asian girl who cut their heads off.
