About:: Shiver at the Haunting of the Old Grand Union Hotel. This haunting fundraiser is at the Stagecoach Inn Museum (formerly the Grand Union Hotel) in Newbury Park (near Thousand Oaks). Built in 1876, it is an eerie location that still evokes wonderful Victorian memories. Halloween is a natural for this old hotel on the original stage route from Santa Barbara to Los Angeles. Done up like a Halloween parlor party circa 1880 guides will be dressed in appropriate Victorian attire for the evening. Join Kasey Rogers, the actress you may best remember as Louise Tate, the boss' wife on the old TV series Bewitched. Some friends, (including Dr. Bombay, Bernard Fox, Rose Marie from the Dick Van Dyke Show, Oscar winner Margaret O'Brien), SueAne Langdon, Randal Malone and other friends that are getting together to form a truly spooky Victorian experience This is the second year of haunting for this little museum. All proceeds go to benefit the historic site.
