- "The Dead going Old School!" The Haunted Barn was started in 1974 & still SCARING THE YELL OUT OF THEM!!! This is our 30th year & going back to what made us one of the scariest places to venture to. We are haven for the dead is in a pre-Civil war building & we do have some, how do you say "GHOSTLY" residents. This year will be a SCREAMFEST, 13 rooms of horror (not for the weak hearted), 190ft.
