- About:
- Our inflatable attraction is approximately 32'x27' and meets all state fire department codes. The unit is made of valmex, a flame retardant material, commonly used in mobile children's "jump" structures. It has 4 emergency exits with UL and NFPA approved illuminated Exits signs, and is equipped with four 2A 10B C rated fire extinguishers. Flamex, a flame retardant liquid, has been applied to all props as an added safety precaution. The haunt consist of actors, animatronics, lighting, sound and fog. Along the side of the attraction a 7'x16' trailer is used as a Ticket Booth and dressing room for our actors. If needed, an 11,000 watt Honda generator can be used to power up the attraction.
- History:
- Tortured Souls Productions came to “life” in 1997 in San Bruno, a small town in California.
That first haunt was done on Halloween night in a garage, by a group of friends for the neighborhood kids.
In 1998, moving to a large house in Daly City, California we were able to expand the “haunt” utilizing, not only the garage, but starting in the front yard, going down the side of the house, into the back yard, then through the family room, out into the garage, and ending up in an enclosed tented area in the front of the house. Again, the “haunt” was done, only on Halloween night. Due to the number of attendees, and the desire to provide the haunt on days other than Halloween, we needed to take the “haunt” out of the house and into the public. In 2003 Tortured Souls Productions became mobile attraction. Working with the Daly City Parks and Recreation Department, we were able to put on a two week event. Tortured Souls Productions’ Haunted House was a huge success!
