- This Halloween night, dare to visit The Bludzwurth Casket & Urn Company, in the town of Davenport, Florida. Doctor Bludzwurth brings you a free haunted walk through where a minimum of 30 live haunters bring the event to death. Located about 5 minutes from Haines City Florida, and 20 minutes from Orlando Florida. Get your map over there on the left. Almost 10,000 square feet of terror! Encounter a family unlike you've ever met before.
The Bludzwurth's have had their hands in everything from running the local circus, carnival & freak shows to owning doll and toy factories. Other family businesses have included: Morgues, asylums, junkyards, slaughter houses, graveyards, toxic dumps and state prisons. You never know what new twist they have added to their long list of family run... or should I say, run down... ventures.
Professional level event, with sound, lighting and effects you would only expect to pay for. Self-guided walk through with over 30 live actors involved. Polk County Sherrifs on site nights of event for everyone's safety and protection.
Event Rated PG13 for some graphic scenes. Children under 13 must be accompanied by adults. NO smoking, drinking or foul language. FREE event donations appreciated.

- Bludzwurth Family (circa 1870's)
The earliest photo still remaining of the Family (circa 1870's). In this photo you can see the master mortician and surgeon that would hand down his name to generation after generation. Achter Cull, which was translated into Arthur Kill when he arrived in Staten Island in 1863. Although, it is thought to be in the 1900's that he changed his last name once again to what we now know as Bludzwurth. He is seated front row between the women. As you view the picture, his first wife Meredith is to the right. Although estranged at the time, he brought her with him to the "States" because of the children they had together.
Although Arthur was the master in many, many ways, his brother, Louse Cull, aka Lewis Kill, aka Lewis Bludzwurth, was always in the shadows. Trying to match his skills to Arthur's. Always in constant frustration he was never able to grasp those masterful skills the same way. This drove Lewis mad with anger. It also led to Lewis starting the more grisly experimentation. I guess you would say, out of the competition to prove himself a better surgeon than Arthur a mad-man grew. He knew if he could just make one discovery, it would make the family back home in the Ukraine proud. Lewis is seated front row far left.
The woman between Arthur and Lewis is Ester. At the time of this photo she was Arthur's second wife. Meredith, again your far right and Arthur's first wife would later end up marrying Lewis. Lewis and Meredith had no children together. Many said that Arthur pressured them constantly to marry, but there was no love between them. Arthur did not want any of the family's money to start spreading out amongst others. The fact that Lewis had no children also fueled the jealousy that Lewis felt for Arthur.
The older children standing were Arthur and Meredith's together, respectively your left to right: Anne, Millie, adopted son Simonson (shortened to Simon), Hester, and Horace. The front three children were Arthur and Ester's. Names left to right, Tunnisen, Gretchen and Arthur the second or Jr. aka "The Surgeon from Hell".
As Arthur Jr. grew up, his Uncle Lewis would slowly convince him that the ways of a mad man would be the only way to get ahead in life and to achieve the attention they both craved. The generations that followed "The Surgeon" would truly be the ones to make the Bludzwurth name come to be known as a name of fear, terror, torture and madness. Arthur Jr. brought into this world generations of insanity.
Arthur Jr. passed away forever proud. In his own disturbed mind, he saw himself a master surgeon as his father Arthur Sr. was. What he really brought to us, was a family that would lead generation after generation into a twisted and horrific life. Bringing terror to all that crossed this families path. Look into the eyes of a young mad-man here at age 7. Although, when you look into the eyes of his half sister Hester directly behind him, you can see the insanity that was just waiting to be unleashed by all.
