- Front Yard Fright is a free yard haunt/ home haunt located in Waverly, IA. 2006 is our 2nd year running a haunt so we are rather new to haunting. However, with 120 tots i think we did pretty good!
- History:
- We are remaining at the same location for the 2007 season. However, we are looking into getting a building and going professional as our "hobby" has turned into quite a job. I would have liked to keep this a small little part time gig, but it's getting far too out of hand to keep it small! I enjoy doing it and I very much enjoy doing this for my community. However, with costs beginning to raise every year and more and more money is put into this, I can't see keeping it at our home for much longer.
If you personally own or know of a vacant building and would be interested in sharing our family tradition with us please contact us via e-mail. We are very interested in going professional with our haunt. We just need a big enough building so we can expand year after year!
Also, a long with running out of room to set up our haunt/display we are also running out of room to store it during the off season! We are currently renting a Mini Storage unit from Ramker Construction, who is nice enough to give us a good deal, to store our stuff after we tear it down. However, after the 2007 I'm dreading the fact that we may have to get yet another unit to store all the new things made for the 2007 haunt.
