About:: The Auburn Haunted House is a charity haunt put on by the Auburn Masons. It is intended for older children and adults. We are celebrating our 8th year of scaring and hope you will join us once again this year in the Old Masonic Building basement. This building has a rich history and some surprises of its own. Voted the scariest haunt in the area by televisions Fox 55 voters and other web site polls in 2008. Don't miss your chance to see what everyone is screaming about.
History:: This charity haunt was started in 2001 as a fundraiser for the Auburn Masonic Lodge. The desire to put on a professional show moved this group from building to building. Last year the Masons decided to return to their own creepy basement and the show was considered the best ever. Many believe it was the years of experience, others believe the spirits already present in the building helped make it better. Get your tickets early this year and decide for yourself.
