History:

According to locals, ever since his tragic death in 1845 the ghost of Johnny Appleseed has been known to return to roam the Michigan orchards of apple trees that he planted nearly 200 years ago. Born in Massachusetts on September 26th, 1774, Johnny Appleseed’s real name was John Chapman. Many of us already know that Johnny grew up with a great love for apples that inspired him to spend 49 years of his life roaming the American wilderness planting apple seeds. Most people don’t know, however, that Johnny’s great love for apples made him hate the new invention of the cider mill that would soon chop up his precious apples into a fine pulp before squeezing their life juice from them. Dating back to the mid-1800s, workers at Country Mill Farms in Charlotte, Michigan have sensed an eerie presence lurking around their cider mill and orchard late at night. Some have claimed to see a tall slender man with a cooking pot on his head swinging an axe wildly. Others just remember seeing a pair of bare feet following them through the night. The current owners of the cider mill have reported several, unexplainable occurrences around their farm that can only be attributed to a mysterious presence. Some even say this is a Michigan haunted house and it isn't just at Halloween. While some believe that this is the ghost of Johnny Appleseed others believe that he was much too kind and that it must be the ghost of his evil twin brother. Whatever you believe, this frightening Michigan ghost has come to be known as “Johnny Frank-n-Seed.” Johnny Frank-n-Seed continues to seek revenge for all of the apples that have been mutilated throughout the years in the cider mill. His victims could soon face the same fate!
