About:: This is Captain Johns fourth year inviting guests into his old estate to horrify their Halloween weekend. With the Captains return, so come his mengerie of cutthroughts, killers, and pirates, along with a few more exotic things picked up by the Captains sailing of the seven seas. Located on Larkin Road directly off from Ny Route 12. Addmission is $4. Captain John warns you that this is no frivoulus threat, and let the faint of heart beware for he has returned and is wary of those who would have his gold for his own.
History:: In the past 4 years the haunt has taken on a life of its own, including memorable characters such as our praised witch and outstanding art by our renounded artist Paul. With over 50 people involved last year it's no wonder the haunt has nearly doubled in size every year since its start. Our actors and staff make the event one of the MOST CREATIVE, INTENSE HAUNTED HOUSES IN THE AREA! It has also been a haven for area teenagers to grow both creatively and socially. During the set up and operation of the attraction, Junior members are mentored in both creative aspects and problem solving for any task that may occur. We are now starting in July to set up what is bound to become the most extravagant Ackley Haunted House yet.
