BE A STRANGER

So i heard about this film The Strangers opening May 30th, but didn’t know too much about it. I had yet to see a preview. And then I went to see Baby Mama the other day, and – what? You have a problem with that? I went with my wife (sorry ladies, but yes I am married), but I don’t need to justify anything to you. Come here, COME HERE! I swear to god I will Kick Your Effin’ A – and lo and behold before the film there is a preview for The Strangers. And holy shit does this thing look incredible. I know all trailers are supposed to make the film look good even if it isn’t, but this one seriously looks like they know what they’re doing.
You truly can tell from the previews that they know how to scare people. It is evident that it is not a bunch of ridiculous startles, but completely ambient, disturbing, moody, creepy and downright sick. From the camera angles to the pace of the trailer to how they choose to scare you in the preview itself all indicate that this is a new breed of horror film that harkens back to an old breed of horror film. Needless to say I am amped about this. You should watch this trailer to see what I am talking about. You can just tell. This one is going to rock. If it doesn’t, I will admit it and eat a bag of turds. In a podcast.
